Ice Cream Picasso

Pretty much since birth, I have had a passion for eating.  Realizing that I had a passion for storytelling came a bit later in life.  Combining the two never crossed my mind until my friend's Harry Hawk and George Motz created the NYC Food Film Festival.

I attended just about every night the first two years of the festival.  By year three I grabbed my camera and a friend with a microphone and finally made a film of my own, Ice Cream Picasso.

After one and a half hours of shooting, I had no idea how much this simple little film would change my life, but it definitely was the start of something big.  So it only seems fitting to start The Hunger Pot off here, where it began.
